Wonderful location close to Cannery Row, very convenient. Nice sized rooms, clean, reasonably well-maintained rooms and grounds; love the twin fire pits and seats. Carol at front desk is a treasure! I'll definitely stay again when I'm next in Monterey.

Our family of 4 stayed at the Wave Inn last week and it was great! We were right down the street from the aquarium and walked there and back as well as to eat on Cannery Row and buy some shirts. Walking distance of about 2 blocks to the beach bay and good view. The woman at the checkin was very nice and recommended some places to eat which was helpful. When we checked out the gentlemen was nice and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Over the years I've stayed in most of the hotels on Cannery Row. It was my first visit here. Super convenient location, parking downstairs, quiet and comfortable rooms, fire pits ... Very happy, would stay here again.

Lovely staff and rooms, amazing location... has to be done if you want to visit Monterey or Carmel on sea (only 10 mins drive)

Location is great your literally a block away from the ocean

Amazing hotel. It is close to everything, very clean and comfortable and also as great as the pictures look. The staff make you feel so welcome and go above and beyond to help you. I left my phone in a car rental and Jessie called the car rental company and asked if they could drop it off at the hotel. Which they did but it was the way that Jessie was so kind and calming. I can’t thank them enough for a great stay. Love this place!

I’ve stayed at the Wave Inn numerous times. Always a pleasant stay. It never disappoints. Thanks again to the fabulous staff! Will be seeing you soon! I don’t think I could book with anyone else in Monterey but the Wave Inn. 5 stars always.

it’s in a great location. you can walk most anywhere. The room was nice and all the staff were very friendly.

I love the location of this place because it's so close to all the good restaurants and tourist attractions-you can walk to Fisherman's Wharf as well as Lover's Point if you desire. Additionally everyday services are close by as well- drug stores,cleaners,office services etc. Likewise there are numerous less traveled eateries in the surrounding New Monterey District as well as various shops. I enjoy people watching from the street facing rooms as well as the partial ocean views- I'm willing to put up the street noise. If you prefer quieter rooms simply choose those to the rear of the property. The rooms are always clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. The room safe and mini fridge are welcome pluses. Any issues that arise are quickly taken care of by the willing helpful staff-Christine,John and Carol. Wave Street Inn is my go-to place to stay in Monterey!!

I went on a mother-daughter trip and Wave Street Inn was absolutely incredible! Very attentive staff, super close to the cannery row and aquarium, yet on a very quiet street. Parking on-site for a small fee, comfortable rooms with big beds, and always nice to see a coffee machine in the room! But the best part was an outside fireplace on the second floor of the hotel - absolutely amazing for having a late night chat with a glass of wine :) we’ll definitely come back!
