Gentleman who checked us in on Friday, 10/3, was fantastic! Great hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. Great location, updated rooms, easy parking, friendly staff.

We’ve stayed here twice before. It’s a great location and you can walk everywhere. Staff is welcoming and friendly. Rooms are nicely appointed and in good condition. Outdoor areas in courtyard are nice with fire pits and seating.

When I searched for a place for my extended weekend visit, several friends named places in Seaside and the surrounding area for lodging. In thinking about my schedule and likely points of interest, I figured that living in town would be more convenient. In searching Travelocity, this place came up with a 3+ Yelp rating so I read a few reviews to get a feel of why some reviews described it as just average. When I arrived on a Thursday late afternoon, I pulled in from the Foam Street entrance and found a parking space straight ahead. I walked to the reception room and checked in, getting two room keys and learning the elevator is key card activated whether going up or down. I filled out a form describing my vehicle and was given a card with my room # and stay dates to validate my daily parking there for $17 per day. I was given a white paper goodie bag that I shared with my friends who joined me a couple days later. I went to my car and left this card on my dashboard and grabbed my luggage to bring to my room. I liked that I needed to use my key card whether coming or going to use the elevator. When I opened the door, I found the room layout comforting and practical. The size of the room made this family friendly. The restroom is spacious and, given the climate here, it was nice being able to open the room and bathroom windows for natural ventilation. There are 2nd floor fireplaces, more impressive in the evening when they are lit. I noticed the hotel sold S'mores kits in case you want to enjoy the fire pits. I stayed for three nights getting a good sleep nightly. Thank you, Jenn, for your hospitality and helpful tips from telling me about the sea lions, the dining options within the block, and directions to and advice on places that I wanted visit. I would stay here again when I'm ready for another trip to the area.

Exceptional location! Adjacent to Cannery Row, there were many dining options. Do not miss the Wave Street Cafe for breakfast. Simply outstanding! The staff was overly accommodating and extremely friendly.

Very close to the ocean. Most rooms have a good ocean view! The outdoor area is very nice with some fire pits to spend the evening by. This spot is a block away from cannery row which is where we spent most of our time.

I was greeted by Jennifer, the front desk receptionist. Jennifer was friendly and cheery with a great personality! Hopefully, she's here when we come back for a visit! Rooms are nice. Beds are comfy. Pillows are firm. I especially loved the ocean view.

We had a lovely stay at Wave Inn. We had the 2 rooms and there waa enough space for 5. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was lovely, beds comfy! The shower was really nice! It was close to the beach and everything Monterey has to offer!

The location was fabulous. Our room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was spa level nice! It was the staff that made it so special. So kind and welcoming, ready with recommendations on attractions and restaurants. Plus, we were gifted a goodie bag upon check-in with some tasty snacks. All in all, a truly lovely stay at a lovely hotel with wonderful people. Thank you! No biggie, but next time, I will try to get a room with a view! :)

I haven't been to Monterey in over 25 years and staying here has inspired more frequent visits. The hotel itself was easy to get to and the overnight parking was competitively priced. I loved that they give you a snack bag at check-in. They definitely know how to treat long-drive travelers. More so, the staff was really nice and the location was perfect. There's really no need to l drive anywhere because you can walk to restaurants and hit other tourist spots, including the aquarium. We're definitely returning!
