Do I have to wear a face covering during my visit?
In compliance with California state requirements and county public health guidelines, all staff and volunteers, and guests — ages three and older — are required to wear face coverings inside the Aquarium, unless doing so poses a health risk because of an underlying condition. Children two years of age or younger are not required to wear a face covering.
Where is parking at the Monterey Bay Aquarium?
The Monterey Bay Aquarium offers two parking areas - Cannery Row Parking Garage on 601 Foam St. between Hoffman Ave and Prescott Ave. and the Cannery Row Parking Lot on 160 Irving Ave. between Foam St. and Wave St. Visitors can also find metered street parking on the surrounding streets but they can be limited.
Are there tours of the Monterey Bay Aquarium?
Monterey Bay Aquarium offers several exciting tours. Go behind the scenes of jaw-dropping exhibits with expert guides giving you the scoop on animals, fish, and their habitats. Join shark tours, feeding tours, family tours, personal guided tours, and even romance tours. Tour range from 30 minutes to 2 hours so plan ahead.
