Word Of Mouth Matters

I went on a mother-daughter trip and Wave Street Inn was absolutely incredible! Very attentive staff, super close to the cannery row and aquarium, yet on a very quiet street. Parking on-site for a small fee, comfortable rooms with big beds, and always nice to see a coffee machine in the room! But the best part was an outside fireplace on the second floor of the hotel - absolutely amazing for having a late night chat with a glass of wine :) we’ll definitely come back!

I love the location of this place because it's so close to all the good restaurants and tourist attractions-you can walk to Fisherman's Wharf as well as Lover's Point if you desire. Additionally everyday services are close by as well- drug stores,cleaners,office services etc. Likewise there are numerous less traveled eateries in the surrounding New Monterey District as well as various shops. I enjoy people watching from the street facing rooms as well as the partial ocean views- I'm willing to put up the street noise. If you prefer quieter rooms simply choose those to the rear of the property. The rooms are always clean and tidy and the bed comfortable. The room safe and mini fridge are welcome pluses. Any issues that arise are quickly taken care of by the willing helpful staff-Christine,John and Carol. Wave Street Inn is my go-to place to stay in Monterey!!

This is our second stay at Wave Street Inn. We booked the family suite which was perfect for us which included two teenagers. The rooms were spacious and amenities well stocked. The staff were courteous and friendly. Can’t beat the location! Close enough to cannery row but far enough to be a bit more quiet. All our activities were within walking distance (hop on the free trolley if you want to go into downtown Monterey). We will definitely stay again for future visits to Monterey.

Great location in Monterey, only 1 block off of Cannery Row, so easy access to food, shopping and the Monterey Aquarium. Our room was clean, comfortable & nicely decorated, including a spacious bathroom with a great shower! Plus, the staff was very friendly & accommodating. Comfy chairs and firepits were a nice place to relax & chat outside in the evening. And they offer private, onsite parking. I would definitely recommend Wave Street Inn to other travelers. We really enjoyed our stay.
