It was a good value for a terrific location, only 10 minute walk to the aquarium and close to cannery row. Great oceanside views from the west side (King bed rooms). Staff was helpful, and parking is easy. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There are firepits in the courtyard in the evening. The double queen rooms are a bit tight on space. If you aren't on the top floor, you'll hear the people above you as they walk.

Das günstigste Hotel auf unserem Roadtrip. Nur für eine Übernachtung. Das Zimmer war gross, es war sauber, viele STeckdosen, USB-C Anschlüsse,)... .perfekt. Manchmal hat man ja auch Glück.... wir sind direkt in die tiefgarage gefahren. 10 m zum Aufzug, 15 zur Rezeption. Keine Wartezeit. Early checkin, late checkout wurde vom Mitarbeiter angesprochen. Zimmer war um 13:00 Uhr schon fertig; und wie gewünscht konnten wir nach Rückkehr von der whale-watching tour nochmal ins Zimmer. Frühstück... gibts halt keines (oder wir hatten keines gebucht). Direkt gegenüber ist ein supertolles cafe. Lage perfekt in der ersten Reihe an der waterfront. Hier hätte ich mir auch mehrere Nächte vorstellen können.

My husband and I stayed here recently for our anniversary and it was amazing!!! The location cannot be beat, you can walk to Cannery Row in literally 5 minutes! The price was also a huge selling point for the LOCATION. I cannot say that enough, the location was perfect!! The hotel rooms are clean and spacious, the fire pits to lounge around were a nice surprise, and it’s very quiet. Also, Carol is an absolute gem, we loved chatting with her! We absolutely adore this beautiful hotel and cannot wait to stay at Wave Street Inn again!! Already planning our next Monterey trip. ❤️

We had a great stay at the Wave Street Inn. It is only one block from the Cannery Row area and quick walking distance to the Aquarium so it was perfectly located. Lots of restaurants nearby. The room was updated and comfortable. The check-in person was probably the nicest check-in person I've run into and I stay at a lot of hotels. It was clear that the management was very tuned into making our stay comfortable. They even gave us a nice goody bag full of snacks. Thank you to Wave Street Inn for letting us continue to park while we visited the aquarium after check-out. We had a nice comfortable stay.

This hotel is wonderful. Location is perfect, the room was clean and smelled nice. The best part was the friendliest ladies at the front desk. They were so helpful and kind. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends and family. I can't wait to return for my next vacation.

The Wave Street Inn is absolutely wonderful. It's everything you need for a weekend in Monterey. Much more reaonsably priced than options on the main drag, but still perfectly located and with an excellent view. We wanted convenient location but knew we'd be spending the majority of our time out and about, so we didnt want to splurge on lodgings, but still wanted something decent, and the Wave Street Inn surpassed decent while still providing significant affordability as compared to nearby alternatives. It took us less than 10 minutes to walk to the aquarium, which was most important to us, and the rest of downtown was equally accessible. The room was small, but provided everything we needed. Overall cleanliness of the hotel was noticeable both outside and in. Highly recommend this establishment for the most conveniently located, reasonably priced establishment right in the heart of Monterey.

1st time here and it was amazing! The rooms are clean and we had a little view of the ocean. The beds are comfortable and THAT SHOWER!!!! Cannery Row is just down the block so it’s in a great spot. Only drawback is the limited parking. We got lucky and got the last spot when we came back from dinner. We will definitely be coming back!

Literally the nicest front desk guy I've ever met at a hotel! Give that man a raise. Rooms are nice enough. Very easily walkable which I appreciate. That shower though is easily 10/10

We highly recommend this hotel if you want to be close to the beach, we got an ocean view room, and parking for only $20. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was amazing. The staff was so nice. They even have 2 fire pits downstairs if you wanna hang out and have a couple of drinks.
