Word Of Mouth Matters

We had an AMAZING stay here! Perfect location, kind staff and a view of the ocean right from our bed! Definitely an older, beachy hotel but really gives you the whole feel of visiting Monterey! Would absolutely stay here again.

No frills Inn that's a great bang for your buck on Cannery Row. For what you pay for here, the location is amazing.

Absolutely awesome. We met Carol checking in - a very nice and kind person. The rooms a spotlessly clean and have what you need. The bathroom was also clean. The view from the walkway outside the rooms on the fourth floor is just great. The inn is nice and quiet, and there is an outdoor place on the second floor. Parking at the ground level. The inn is very centrally situated.

We got the family suite on the 4th floor. The view was great! We did have some trouble doors not wanting to unlock. But luckily we had two doors. The staff is extremely friendly. Carol (I think was her name) was a gem. Location is fantastic for the aquarium.

Things I like about this place: 1. The reception staff was very very friendly and accommodating. 2. The hotel parking and lobby was very easy to find. 3. The room and toilet were exceptionally clean. 4. The hotel is just a short walk away from Cannary Row. 5. The seagulls were very friendly too. Some downsides are: 1. Breakfast is not included. But there is an amazing cafe called The Wave Street Cafe right across the street. 2. It's pretty expensive, and parking requires an additional surcharge of 17 USD + tax. 3. The parking spot is pretty small, so it's best to drive a smaller car.

Great stay at the Wave Street Inn. The rooms were beautifully decorated and the complimentary sundries were welcome. You can park till 4 next day for $20 and walkable to all the attractions and good restaurants.
