Word Of Mouth Matters

Booked for one night, was so good we stayed for two. Room was excellent, bed was very comfortable, staff are wonderful, firepits for an evening drink are great Very highly recommended. Thankyou to the great staff. For price, this would have to be the best hotel, in the best location we have used America.

We had a great stay at Wave Street. Little things made a difference... comfortable beds and pillows, large bathroom with modern sliding door, a larger than normal flat screen TV... The hotel is walking distance from the Aquarium, Cannery Row, and Fisherman's Wharf. The front desk staff was helpful and kind. We would choose them if we visited Monterey again.

Fantastically convenient Inn in the heart of Monterey. Only 2 minutes from Cannery Row and about 10 minutes from Old Fishermans Wharf which had some lovely places to eat. Great underground carpark with direct access to the accomodation elevator. Easy check-in even, though we arrived early our room was ready for us and we received a lovely goody bag of treats (which came in very useful on our early check out). The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. We couldn't believe how reasonably priced the Inn was considering it's high standards. Shame we were only passing through Monterey, but if we ever come back Wave Street is the place we'll stay.

I was in Monterey for business and I could not have been happier with my stay. The front desk was incredibly warm and professional. The room was clean and had some fun touches with the shower tiles. The hotel was 2 blocks from Cannery Row. Lots of wine tasting and waterfront dining. Close to the aquarium. This would be ideal for young families, business or doing Monterey on a budget while not sacrificing proximity to everything. 10 min from the airport.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Fantastic location 1 block from Cannery Row. So glad I changed from our original hotel to this one. Room was a great size and everything was spotlessly clean. There was a wee bit of noise from the room upstairs but it didn’t bother us at all. John at reception was really friendly and welcoming. I will definitely stay here if I’m in Monterey again.

What an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Both John and Christine were charming and very welcoming. Out room was SPOTLESS and nicely setup. I wish o would of found this place the night before.😥 I would highly recommend staying at this Inn. We will definitely return. Thank you for a great enjoyable stay. Kathy

The rooms have been updated & eye pleasing. The bed was perfect!! The staff was very helpful. I was very surprised at the tasteful upgrades. I didn't want to Leave but was on a limited time schedule. I will come back!!

Loved this place. It’s in the perfect location walking distance to everything. It is very nice. Great price. Absolutely loved the fire pits every night for my wind down with some wine. Chatted with different people. Can’t wait to come back!!

Great stay at Wave Street Inn! Centrally located to Cannery Row, Coastal Recreation Trail and Aquarium. Staff was very accommodating providing tips for our stay and letting us check into our room a couple hours early. They also honored our request for a top floor room which was appreciated! Room was clean and comfortable with modern finishes. Usually don’t stay in motel type hotels but this exceeded our expectations for the price and would stay again when we are back in Monterey! Thanks for a great stay!

We truly enjoyed our Stay at the Wave Street Inn. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Cannery Row and the Aquarium. It offers parking on site. The rooms are well furnished and spacious. The hotel does not have a restaurant but the staff is very helpful to recommend places in the area. For breakfast you can go to nearby cafes or bring everything you need to enjoy breakfast on the tables in the courtyard with the seagulls watching you!
