Three nights at the Wave St Inn. Reasonably priced, quiet, nice room, good bed. Ample car-parking, spacious. Wave St is just a short walk away from Cannery Row. Loads of restaurants and bars in easy walking distance.

Our family of four was looking for a place to stay overnight to see Monterey and we were so glad we found wave street inn. Was perfect walking distance to things we wanted, had a modern look and cool little fire pits, and we enjoyed our time. The staff was great! Thanks.

Excellent hotel. Booked last minute for a little getaway. Street-side room had a nice window overlooking the ocean. Very clean, well maintained. Staff was friendly, courteous. Super conveniently located two blocks from Cannery Row. Comfortable bed, good shower temp and pressure. It's a wonderful place to stay if you find the fancy local hotels too expensive. It's relatively quiet but this is Monterey so expect seagulls and some traffic. I will be back!

During our visit, Front desk staff were consummate professionals who went out of their way to be helpful and contribute to a wonderful atmosphere. This was most appreciated. The rooms were clean and we could hardly hear our neighbors when we were inside of our room.Although we did not take advantage, the fire pits were a nice touch to gather if desired. The hotel is a block away from Cannery Row and the beach. For us, the location was ideal; the hotel is close but not too close to everything going on in the area. There is an "affiliate" restaurant across the street that offers generous portions at a reasonable price but be prepared to wait. Without question, we will return to this hotel when we visit Monterey again soon.

Wonderful experience and very friendly staff! Our room was on the 3rd floor and had an ocean view! Room was nice and clean! Great location! Within walking distance to Cannery Row!! Will definitely stay here again in the future!

We have been coming to Wave Street ( Otter Inn ) for years. We have always had a comfortable and pleasant stay. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. The best location, walking distance to so many places. We love staying here.

We've been coming here for a long time when it was the Otter Inn. It was hard to stay somewhere else when they did the remodel but the rooms came out so nice. The rooms are always very clean and fully stocked. Christine is always so nice and does her best to find us a room even when they're really busy. John is also a great guy and very helpful, thank you both. Wave Street is our home away from home. Looking forward to our next visit in August. Thank you!
